Velopark Cyclocross National Trophy Nov 2022
Mid Devon Cycling Club and South West Cyclocross League have teamed up to bring a National Trophy Cyclocross to Torbay Velopark on 19th and 20th November.
Spectators are all welcome to attend the event for Free, see map below along with Timetable.
Overnight parking at Torbay £10 a night!!
Overnight parking is available at Quay West car park across the road from the venue. This is a pay and display car park and you will need to purchase a ticket. Overnight tickets are reduced to £10 for race-goers (coins only in the machine). In order to be eligible for the reduced rate, you will need to display a colour permit with your ticket, these will be available from the Velopark entrance gate and will be a blue slip to show you are attending the event. The blue slip is required to accompany your pay and display £10 ticket. If you don’t have the blue parking permit, your reduced £10 will not be valid!
There are no toilet or shower facilities at this venue but a toilet will be available at the Velopark 24/7. Showers are available in the sports centre when open.
Please park with one space between you as a fire break.
This is Torbay Cancel rules and no parking is allowed in the Velopark car park overnight if anyone does park there they are putting the event at risk.

Mid Devon Cycling Club and South West Cyclocross league have teamed up with NEVER STRAYS FAR podcast hosts and ITV cycling commentary team David Millar, Pete Kennaugh and Ned Boulting for the 4th round of the National Trophy Cyclocross at Torbay Velopark on 19th & 20th November. The podcast hosts will be attending the event and be on site at points over the weekend. This is the first time for many years that the South West are hosting this event which will be held at Torbay Velopark where a new cyclocross feature funded by Mid Devon CC and British Cycling will be utilised. Work on this exciting new phase for the velopark starts on the 20th September making it one of the top UK cyclocross venues. The event is likely to receive around 700 entries with over 1000 spectators bringing approximately £160k to Torbay.
NEVER STRAYS FAR The three talk about lots of things, although they never stray far from the core issue, bike racing. Expect guests from the racing world and some proper old school reporting from the road side. Sponsored by CHPT3, Supass and The Road Book.
