Mid Devon Cycling Club Sends Exciting Young Team to Prestigious Grand Prix du Jumelage in Vire, Normandy

EXETER, UK – April 30, 2025 – The Mid Devon Cycling Club (MDCC) is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Grand Prix du Jumelage, a prestigious cycling event held in Vire, Normandy, France, on May 4th and 5th, 2025.

The club is sending a promising team of young riders eager to test their mettle on the international stage. The selected team includes Edward Fraile-Whysall, Dean Hodge, Shaun Davey, Josh Snow, and James Pearcy. They will be joined by guest rider Callum Orchard from Okehampton Cycling Club, strengthening the squad for this challenging event.

This represents a significant opportunity for these developing riders to gain invaluable experience competing against a strong European field. The Grand Prix du Jumelage is a well-regarded fixture on the racing calendar, known for its demanding course and high level of competition.

Supporting the team throughout the weekend will be a dedicated crew of experienced Mid Devon CC members, Simon Aske, Andrew Hitchens, and Andrew Parker. Their extensive knowledge and support will be crucial for the young team’s performance and well-being during the event.
